Work at Maple Cottage is now nearing completion following a deep retrofit to improve the thermal, airtight and acoustic performance of this family home. The new kitchen was recently installed, the MVHR and heat pump systems have been commissioned and the finishing touches are being added to the new master bathroom suite. Our third (and hopefully final) airtightness test is booked in later this month to verify that the innovative paint-applied airtight membrane is working as it should be. The client moved back into the property in early February and, despite the cold weather, is reporting a massive improvement in the thermal performance and draught-free comfort of the building.
