Based in Evesham, we work on residential projects throughout Worcestershire and neighbouring counties, and deliver commercial projects nationwide.
Dyer Hampson Wight was originally founded in Cheltenham in 1964 under the name of Roger Dyer Associates. In its early years the practice established its reputation for designing innovative, bold, modernist buildings throughout Cheltenham and the wider Southwest region. In the 1990’s, Dyer Associates expanded throughout the UK, opening offices in London and Edinburgh.
During this time the business also established a global reputation working internationally in Spain, Abu Dhabi and Russia. In 2016 the then multi-national parent company, Group Dyer, was restructured to reflect the geographical markets they served with the UK studio in London rebranded as Architects Dyer and led by Tim Hampson.
The business was strengthened with the promotion of our latest generation of Directors - Charlotte Hampson in 2021 and Gregor Wight in 2025.
In 2026 Architects Dyer was renamed Dyer Hampson Wight to reflect the latest generation of leadership and to recognise Tim’s legacy.
Dyer Hampson Wight still embodies the values and ethos of the original founding partners – creating innovative, bold architecture which responds to its place and which endures.

Gregor is a highly experienced, design-oriented architect and Certified Passivhaus Designer with over18 years of professional experience. Gregor is passionate about sustainability in the built environment and is motivated by the challenge of radical change which is necessary to reduce the impact that our designs have on the environment. Prior to joining our team in 2018, Gregor had worked in several award-winning architectural practices in Edinburgh, Glasgow and London on a variety of high-profile projects.
He has a thorough understanding of the importance of sustainable placemaking and a desire to create low-carbon, comfortable, enduring buildings and places which embody the unique characteristics of their location.
Gregor has a passion and aptitude for good design and understands the value it can add. He prides himself on providing exceptional solutions for our clients and their stakeholders.

Charlotte is a RIBA chartered architect with over 15 years experience in managing complex projects through design, tender and construction stages. She thrives at problem-solving, using a people-centred approach and a keen eye for detail to resolve both design and construction challenges.
Charlotte trained at the Mackintosh School of Architecture in Glasgow and has since worked for a number of prominent design practices in London and Glasgow, delivering projects in various sectors including mixed-use, residential (high-end, private and affordable) and commercial property.
Her interests lie in the improvement of the built environment, be that through large or small gestures. Her focus is on producing high quality, well designed and sustainable architecture that all can enjoy and that genuinely improves the lives of the end user.
